Land Information Management Reports

Are you looking at purchasing a new property? If so, Council can provide you with a Land Information Management (LIM) Report. A LIM is a report that provides information held by Council on a specific residential, rural, commercial or industrial property. The report is prepared by Council, at your request. A LIM Report usually contains the following information:
- Boundary of property
- Official address and legal description
- Property zoning
- Government valuation & current rates
- Water Supply information
- Natural hazard information
- Building Consent, Resource Consent and Consent notification information
- Network utility operator information under the Building Act
- Notices issued by building certifiers
- Private and public storm-water and sewerage drains
