Recipients of 2025/26 Round 1

29 September 2025

Council received a total of 36 applications for Round 1 of the contestable fund, with requests totalling $253,009.36*. With a funding pool of $46,000, the assessment panel had a big job allocating funding across the applications.

This fund aims to empower local groups, organisations, and individuals to bring their projects to life. Thank you to all who applied, and congratulations to our successful recipients. We look forward to seeing these projects come to life and make a positive impact in our district.

To unsuccessful applicants, we appreciate the time and effort put into your submissions. While we were unable to support every request this round, we encourage you to apply again in the future. If you would like feedback on your application or guidance for future funding rounds, please reach out to us via grants@tararuadc.govt.nz.

The next funding round will open on 1 February 2026.
