Christmas and New Years kerbside recycling collections 
There will be no kerbside recycling collections on Monday, 25 December 2023, and Monday, 1 January 2024. For those residents in Dannevirke North who typically have their recycling serviced on a Monday, please note that your collection will instead take place on Tuesday. Kindly ensure that your recycling is placed kerbside on Tuesday, 26 December 2023, and Tuesday, 2 January 2024.
Normal collection will resume on Monday 8 January 2024.

Lids no longer permitted in kerbside recycling.
From 1 February 2024, bottle/container lids will no longer be accepted in your kerbside recycling. Lids that are smaller than a yoghurt tub container lid should be placed in your general rubbish. This is part on the Government’s National Standardisation
of Kerbside Recycling.

Hard copies can also be collected from our libraries and service centres.

Dannevirke Transfer Station closure
Please be advised that the Dannevirke Transfer Station will be closed at 1.30pm on Friday, 22 December. This closure is a one-time occurrence, and the facility will resume regular operations on Saturday, 23 December, at its standard opening time of 10:30am.
