Section 131 of the Building Act 2004 requires Councils to adopt a policy on dangerous and insanitary buildings, and review it at least every five years.

The existing policy was recently reviewed and we’re keen to receive your feedback. You can pick up a copy of the draft policy, statement of proposal, and submission form from any of Council’s libraries or customer service centres, or download from our
