Council would like to thank everyone for their generosity in donating food and hygiene products to support isolated communites throughout our district. It was humbling to see the love and care pouring in from our communities.

We have now reached the stage where our communites are becoming more connected again and we have a reserve of donated items that will meet the needs of those still isolated.

This means we can scale back the food drive. If you have food donations ready to come in and still want to donate, you can still bring it to any of our Customer Services or Libraries but the donation may go to our community foodbanks instead of Cyclone Gabrielle relief.
