Victor Company, representing the 1st Battalion, Royal New Zealand Infantry Regiment, will conduct a charter parade in Pahiatua on Saturday 11 November.

The parade will commence at 10 am at the Tararua Club carpark. Victor Company will march down Tararua Street and onto Main Street. Following the parade into town, the Armistice Day remembrance service will commence. Members of the community are invited to attend the parade and the Armistice Day Service.

Road Traffic Plan

Traffic control will take place from 7am-1pm on Saturday 11 November. This will includes a 30km/ph speed limit on Main Street and nearby residential streets to allow for the parade route to be set up and taken down safely.

Stop/go controls will be in place between Albert and Main Streets (including central lanes). Centre Street, Wakeman Street, and Tui Street (including central lanes) will also have stop/go controls.

Traffic at the intersection of Main Street and Tararua Street will be stopped for approximately five minutes at 10:00am, and again at 11:20am to allow the parade to march.
