2027 Photography Competition Launch

We're excited to announce the launch of the 2027 TDC Photography Competition.

The theme is:
People, Place and Pride.

We're looking for great shots that tell the Tararua story and capture what makes our district special.

People:
Celebrate how we live, work and enjoy life here, capture authentic moments that reflect our communities, connections and everyday experiences.

Place:
Showcase our iconic landmarks, landscapes or hidden gems. Reveal your much-loved secret spots to capture Tararua's beauty, character and story.

Pride:
Be a champion for your corner of Tararua, show us what makes you proud to call Tararua home. Share your connection to reflect its beauty, spirit and identity.

We have categories for:

  • Adults
  • Secondary Students
  • Primary/Intermediate students
Everyone, of all ages, has the chance take part.

Entry forms are available from all Tararua District Council Service Centres and libraries, just drop in and collect one.

Entries close on 30 September 2027.
