The closure will mean that nearby residents will be required to use the MDC blue bag collection point on the corner of Kaimatarau Road and Kellow Road. Any larger items that need to be disposed of can be taken to the Manawatū Resource Recovery Centre on Kawakawa Road in Feilding.

The mobile recycling centre on Wear Street in Rongotea is open 24/7. Please be aware that contractors will be on site tomorrow (Wednesday 22 February) to lay a concrete step between the two recycling bins and the area will be fenced off. There will still be access to the outer slots that people can use. The work should be completed by Thursday (weather dependent).
