Representative Fund Recipient: Gracie Williams

Gracie Williams is an avid target shooter and at 14 years of age, was the youngest competitor at the 2023 North vs South Target Shooting competition held in Christchurch this past August.

Gracie applied and was awarded the Representative Fund through the Community Funding Program to assist in travel and equipment.  Finishing 3^rd in the junior competition and 11^th in the women’s competition, Gracie’s skill and passion are highly commendable.

Gracie aspires to one day represent New Zealand at the Oceanian competition and Commonwealth Games.  We look forward to cheering Gracie on throughout her ongoing success.  Thank you Gracie for sharing your experience with council today.
