Rubbish and recycling

Refuse collection on Monday 25 April will proceed as normal.

A reminder, please ensure you have rubbish and recycling out before 7:30am on your collection morning.

Manawatū Resource Recovery Centre

Monday 25 April – Open 1:00pm until 4:00pm

Please note, the recycling drop off area will be open all day.

Feilding Library

Monday 25 April – Closed
Reopens on Tuesday 26 April

Makino Aquatic Centre

Monday 25 April – Open 1:00pm until 6:00pm

ANZAC Day services

Below is a list of ANZAC Day services that are happening in the District. Please note that Council received this list prior to the move to Orange setting and so details may have changed. Check in with your local RSA or Community Committee for up to date details.

Āpiti – 10:00am
Parade assembles outside the Āpiti Tavern and Eatery and marches to the cenotaph at the hall for a service and morning tea.

Bainesse/Rangiotu – 10:30am
A small service with laying of wreaths. No morning tea afterwards.

Cheltenham – 6:30am
Dawn Service at the Cenotaph by Cheltenham Community Playground, followed by breakfast at Cheltenham Hotel.

Colyton – 10:00am
Small servcie by the war memorial followed by light refreshments afterwards in the hall.

Feilding – 6:20am
Muster and form up at the Cenotaph in Manchester Square. Service will commence at 6:30am. Breakfast for $5 at the Senior Hub on Bowen Street upon conclusion.

Halcombe – 10:00am, 11:00am and 12:00pm
No parade but three small servcies at the cenotaph. No food or meet up at the hall afterwards.

Himatangi Beach – 6:00am
Meet at car park around the Bouy on Hunia Terrace between the dairy and Cossy Club. Breakfast available at the Cossy Club.

Kimbolton – 7:45am
Meet at Kimbolton Hall then march to memorial gates to lay wreaths. Heading back to the hall for service and morning tea.

Pohangina – no service

Rangiwahia – 8.20am
March from the Fire Brigade to the Cenotaph for service, followed by a cup of tea afterwards in supper room.

Rongotea – 10:00am
Assemble at the cenotaph in the square for a service. No parade and no morning tea.

Sanson – 9:15am
Parade will form at Sanson School gate near SH1 and march to the cenotaph for the service. Morning tea will be served in teh school hall afterwards.
