Fire

As of 1 July 2017, the new Fire and Emergency New Zealand Act 2017 came into force. This Act repealed the Forest and Rural Fires Act 1997.

All fire permitting and notification about location and seasonal restrictions is now managed by Fire and Emergency New Zealand (FENZ). To find out more you can contact FENZ via the FENZ website or via the numbers below.
