Family Fun Day 2024

Our annual Family Fun Day that is entirely free, was held for the second year in a row, took place at Kowhai Park in Feilding in March.

The event featured various free activities such as inflatables, obstacle course, carnival games, a photo booth, community group interactions, and much more. On the day, attendees enjoyed free food, drinks, and giveaways.

The day was filled with a strong sense of community spirit, evident through cheerful smiles and treasured moments shared by all. We extend our gratitude to all who contributed to the success of this remarkable day, including our dedicated volunteers, generous sponsors, various organizations, and community groups.

Following the event, we organized a Facebook competition where participants had the chance to win two $25 gift vouchers generously provided by Kelly's Outlet Footwear Store in Feilding. We asked participants to share, what was their favourite thing about Family Fun Day?

Emma Strachan was the fortunate winner chosen randomly from 187 comments. She wrote in the comments "My son absolutely loved the blue barrel ride, he tried to go under the rope and jump back in after his turn was finished! For me I really loved the whole day, great atmosphere and was heartwarming to enjoy a great day with my lil family without spending a dime. But if I have to pick, the popcorn. Love buttery hot popcorn!"

Additionally, a sincere thank you to all attendees who celebrated this day with their loved ones. The event showcased a deep sense of community, creating a truly heartwarming experience.
