Rock Hunt And Book Drop
Rock Hunt & Book Drop
As part of our Love MCHL Month celebrations, we’re excited to bring you two fun activities. A Rock Hunt and a Book Drop.
Each Wednesday throughout February, we’ll be hiding painted rocks around the area for children to discover. Clues are given out weekly on our MCHL facebook page. When they bring their rock back to our front counter at Manawatū Community Hub Libraries Te Āhuru Mōwai, located at 64 Stafford Street, Feilding, they’ll get to choose a Makerspace 3D printed figurine as a special reward.
We’ll also be placing sealed bags of books around the area, ready for children, youth, and adults to find. Whether you decide to keep the book, or re-bag and re-hide it for someone else to enjoy, it’s all part of the fun.
Don’t miss out on the excitement, get out and start hunting for those painted rocks and book bags. It’s a wonderful way to spread the love and add a little extra fun to your week.
