Central Economic Development Agency
The Central Economic Development Agency (CEDA) exists to drive and facilitate the creation and growth of economic wealth in Manawatū and beyond. CEDA works across the three strategic pillars of economic development - People, Place and Business. Manawatū District Council and Palmerston North City Council each hold 50% of the shares in CEDA. Local Government Funding Authority
The Local Government Funding Authority (LGFA) benefits communities through delivering efficient financing for local government. The LGFA governance structure comprises the New Zealand Government (20%) and thirty councils (80%), the LGFA Shareholders Council and the LGFA Board of Directors. Manawatū Community Trust
The Manawatū Community Trust (MCT) has the purpose of the promotion of housing for the elderly and disabled residents of the Manawatū district and the promotion of wellbeing services for residents of the Manawatū district.
