Lewischan Limited, 79-81 Kimbolton Road, Feilding has made application to the District Licensing Committee at Feilding for the renewal of an On Licence in respect of the premises situated at 79-81 Kimbolton Road, Feilding known as Mekong Restaurant.
The general nature of the business conducted under the licence is that of a restaurant.
The days on which and the hours during which alcohol is sold under the licence are:
Monday to Sunday 10.00 a.m. to 1.00 a.m. the following day
The application may be inspected during ordinary office hours at the office of the Manawatu District Licensing Committee at 135 Manchester Street, Feilding.
Any person who is entitled to object and who wishes to object to the issue of the licence may, not later than 25 working days after the date of the publication of this notice, file a notice in writing of the objection with the Secretary of the Manawatu District Licensing Committee at Private Bag 10001, Feilding 4743. Alternatively, letters of objection can be emailed to alcohol@mdc.govt.nz
No objection to the issue of a licence may be made in relation to a matter other than a matter specified in section 131 of the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012.

The new bridge is estimated to be open in February 2026.
Residents will continue to have access to their properties during the closure, all properties north of the Makiekie Bridge will need to use Pohangina Valley East Road and Churchill Road for access during the closure.
Temporary Road Closures - Targa Rally
Roads to be closed to ordinary vehicular traffic:
- Pohangina Valley East Road - from its intersection with Awahou South Road, to its intersection with Oroua Valley Road.
Adjoining Roads: No. 3 Line (no exit), No.2 Line (no exit), No. 1 Line (no exit), Opawe Road (no exit), Churchill Road (no exit), Arbons Road (no exit), Takapari Road (no exit), Piripiri Road (no exit), Makoura Road, Norsewood Road (no exit), Umutoi North Road (including Pettigrew Road, no exit), Tunipo Road (no exit) and Cawood Road (no exit).
- Main South Road - from 350 metres from its intersection with Table Flat Road/Nixs Road, to its intersection with Te Parapara Road.
- Te Parapara Road - from its intersection with Main South Road to its intersection with Rangiwahia Road/Ruahine Road
- Ruahine Road - from its intersection with Te Parapara Road/ Rangiwahia Road, to its intersection with Kawhatau Valley Road.
* Note: To assist with the stage security, the closure is also to include 100 metres of each adjoining road, from where it intersects with the road being applied for.
