1. Approve the stakeholder and community engagement approach outlined in this report for the proposed Market Square covered structure and one-way change to a section of Fergusson and Goodbehere Streets, to be undertaken during May–July 2026

2. Agree that engagement will be considered in the final design of the Market Square covered structure and one-way change to a section of Fergusson and Goodbehere Streets, prior to lodging a resource consent application for the proposed Market Square covered structure.

3. Note that engagement is intended to:

a. test community views on elements of the design

b. inform design refinement

c. reduce risks associated with the resource consenting process
