When did you build your first raised pedestrian crossing, and why? (As opposed to a standard zebra crossing)
The first raised pedestrian crossing was installed in May 2021. This was installed subsequent to a school principal's request to provide a pedestrian crossing facility outside the school gate.

Please see attached reference maps covering the last five representation reviews held by the Manawatū District Council, over the years 2000, 2006, 2012, 2018 and 2022. LG_2339_Response_documents.zip
We unfortunately do not hold data prior to these years, but the Local Government Commission has kindly provided us with the reference maps for the Manawatū District following the 1989 local government amalgamations. Their maps from 1989 (attached to this response) show the below wards:
- Feilding
- Kairanga
- Kiwitea
- Pohangina
By 2000, Kiwitea and Pohangina had been combined to become the Kiwitea-Pohangina Ward. The attached maps show the ward progression since then, across 2006, 2012, 2018 and the most recent representation review in 2022.
The Local Government Commission has advised that Land Information New Zealand have the below maps on file:

I refer to your Local Government Official Information Request dated 04 February 2025, in which you requested all information related to the dogs at Ridge Road, Pohangina, as well as any communications regarding your complaints.
It has taken some time to process the documents, giving careful consideration to the Local Government and Meetings Act 1987 and the Privacy Act 2020.
