| Requested Information: | Information requested on litres of water pumped per minute at Awa fill station and any plans to install more water filling stations in Rongotea area or the Manawatu district Council area. |
| Response: | 1. At the pump station at 18 Awa Street, Feilding, can you tell me how many litres per minute does the pump load into water tankers? Approximately 800L/min depending on the pipework configuration on the truck. 2. Is the Manawatu Council planning on opening a pump station in Rongotea for Domestic Water Carriers to use, if so does the Council have a time frame for this to in place? Informal discussions have been had with carriers wanting a filling station in Rongotea, however no funding has been allocated within our Long Term Plan budgets. 3. Are there any plans to put pump stations anywhere else in your district for domestic water carriers to use, if so, where? We have not allocated any funding within our LTP towards installing filling stations across the district. |
