Can you please provide me with the following details for Dates between 

1st May – 1st June 2021 

1st May – 1st June 2022 

1st May – 1st June 2023 

1st May – 1st June 2024 

1st May – 1st June 2025 

If the testing of these substances are not captured between these dates please specify why they were not and the alternative consistent dates they were tested, and provide that data. 

The test point location should be clearly identified and an indication that this point remained unfiltered or screened prior to testing.  Show where the publicly accessible common tap furthest downstream, from the Water treatment facility while still within the CBD Area (WS) a Surface Water Site (SW) and Well Site (MW) near the Water Treatment Facility. 

All data needs to be reported in Micro Grams per Liter ug/L in an editable Excel format:

I refer to your official information request dated 08 June 2025.  

The information you have requested is Contained in this link -  

The substances listed are not routinely tested for in Manawatu District Water Supplies except for lead(Pb) and Nitrates. 

Plumbosolvent Metals are tested for in the Reticulation Network every six months as required by the Drinking Water Quality Assurance Rules 2022. 

The last two testing runs for plumbosolvent metals did not detect anything above the detection limits 

(attached) – Feilding water supply sampled from Council water sampling point at 77 Sherwill Street. 

Nitrate is tested for in our water sources monthly ( results for May 23, May 24 & May 25 in spreadsheet.) 

Lead in source water is tested for annually (see results spreadsheet) 

Source water is sampled at the intake to the Water Treatment Plant 

No well sites are tested for water supply purposes. 

All sampling and testing undertaken by MDC is in accordance with NZ drinking water standards.
